John has worked in the financial profession for more than three decades, guiding high-net-worth families through the coordination of significant wealth and the decisions that shape what they leave behind.
His focus is the work that matters most once wealth reaches scale: how it is owned, how it is protected, how it grows, and how it passes to the next generation. Rather than treating investments, insurance, entities, and estate documents as separate matters, John coordinates them into one deliberate structure, wealth designed to function as a whole.
His approach is grounded in a single discipline: architecture over accumulation. The goal is not simply to manage assets or transfer them, but to coordinate a family’s entire financial picture with clarity and intention, so that a lifetime of building is preserved and prepared to endure.
“A legacy isn’t left. It’s designed.”
As founder of JL Financial Associates, John leads a practice devoted to the coordination of substantial wealth, estate strategy, wealth transfer, and the stewardship of significant family assets. He works alongside clients’ attorneys and tax advisors, bringing coordination to a process that is too often fragmented, so that every part of the plan speaks to the others.
Clients work with John for judgment, discretion, and structure, and for the confidence that comes from seeing the whole picture rather than its pieces. Over more than three decades, he has earned recognition for a client-focused, systems-based approach to wealth design.
John also serves as an advisor with Northeast Financial Network, while operating JL Financial Associates.
Outside the Office
John is married to Rose, and together they have two children, John and James. Away from the practice, he is an avid golfer.
